The San Mateo County Pride Center has been working hard to develop resources for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies/advocates. If it's not a training or community gathering, the Pride Center has clinical services and peer groups to offer. It has also mobilized its many years of relationships and partnerships to develop helpful guides and information that are super easy to access and download.

The San Mateo County Probation Department seeks qualified applicants who can provide comprehensive security systems maintenance and support services at the Youth Services Center (YSC) Juvenile Hall and Camp Kemp facilities located in San Mateo. Services include: maintaining door locks, duress buttons, central control software, security camera hardware and software, and media storage.
The California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls is honored to announce that the state budget includes additional one-time funding of 7.9 million dollars, 5 million of which will be utilized to facilitate a statewide Women’s Recovery Response in the wake of COVID-19. For Immediate Release REDWOOD CITY – The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors today passed a Proclamation declaring November 19, 2021, Transgender Day of Remembrance in the County. This Board action will be accompanied by raising and flying the Transgender flag at the Hall of Justice in Redwood City and hosting a virtual remembrance ceremony.
The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors adopted a proclamation declaring June 2021 as LGBTQQI2S Pride Month in San Mateo County and has ordered the Progress Pride Flag to be flown at County Center and other County facilities. The Commission on the Status of Women of San Mateo County received tremendous response for its vacancy recruitment. Over 24 applications were received from throughout San Mateo County and after a thorough review by a panel comprised of two County supervisors and representatives from the Commission and staff, seven applicants were offered appointments to the Commission.
The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals for qualified program evaluation services in Juvenile Justice and Institutions programs which include rigorous strategic planning, survey development, data collection, resource mapping, research and analysis, annual report publications, presentations to stakeholders and the development of the Department’s Local Action Plan 2025-2030.
