About the Project
Project construction will include replacing approximately 5,851 LF of sewer main line, rehabilitating or replacing sewer manholes, slurry sealing and restriping various roads in North Fair Oaks Area. The roads affected by this project will be Nimitz Avenue, Himmel Avenue, Milton Street, Santa Clara Avenue, Hull Avenue, Santiago Avenue, and some portions of Woodside Road.

- March 2022 - Project awarded to EPS, Inc. dba Plumbing Express for a NTE of $2,739,220
- April 2022 - County executed contract with EPS. Construction anticipated to begin in June 2022
- May 2022 -Â County executed contract with EPS. Â Construction anticipated to begin in June 2022
- June 2022 -Â Construction commenced early June 2022
- July 2022 -Â Contractor continues to work on Woodside Road.
- August 2022 -Â Contractor will complete the manhole rehabilitation on Woodside Road and start work on the next street.
- October 2022 -Â Contractor starts working on sewer mainline replacement on Santiago Ave.

- Contractor finishes up sewer replacement on Santiago Ave and moves on to Hull Ave.
- Construction Status: 35% Complete.
- December 2022 - Contractor near completion of Hull Ave, and works on MH rehabilitation on Woodside Road.
- January 2023 -Â Contractor worked on manhole rehabilitation, and resuming sewer replacement work at Santa Clara Ave.
- February 2023 -Â Contractor worked on sewer replacement on Milton Street.
- March 2023 -Â Contractor continued sewer replacement work on Milton Street.
- April 2023 -Â Contractor's operations on hold due to material delivery delays.
- May 2023 -Â Contractor starts sewer replacement work on Himmel Avenue.
- June 2023 -Â Contractor continues sewer replacement work on Himmel Ave and Nimitz Ave; and project wide manhole rehabilitation.
- July 2023 -Â Contractor continues sewer replacement work on Nimitz Ave; and project wide manhole rehabilitation.
- August 2023 -Â Contractor finishes sewer replacement work on Nimitz Ave, replaced all manhole frames and covers, and slurry sealed Santiago Ave, Hull Ave, Santa Clara Ave, Milton Ave, Himmel Ave, and Nimitz Ave.
- September 2023 -Â Contractor completes project wide striping work, post construction CCTV and deflection test of the PVC pipe at Himmel Ave and Nimitz Ave. Contractor also completes vacuum. test for all new manholes and starts working on punch list items.
- October 2023 -Â Contractor completes punchlist items. The team works on project close-out.
- November 2023 -Â Project Close-Out.
