As outlined in more detail in Section II – Scope of Work, this Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks a maintenance services contract with a solar maintenance service provider for the solar carport photovoltaic array at the San Mateo Medical Center. The target start date and term for the proposed services is August 2017 to July 2027, subject to negotiation of a final agreement.
In order to meet County’s goal of self-generated renewable power, County of San Mateo has recently acquired a 964 kW Solar PV carport system in parking lot of San Mateo Medical Center. We seek the preventive maintenance and performance reporting services (PMPR) for this solar PV system. The generated solar power generated is exported to PG&E grid via a NEM 2 primary service. The purpose of the project is to generate clean renewable power and lower electric use and charges. The PMPR services are expected to help County operate the Solar PV system efficiently and reliably. As part of the service proposal, please provide cost estimates based on prevailing wage requirements.
