This RFQ seeks responses from any and all qualified agencies or individuals to provide educational and vocational services for the San Mateo County Probation Department’s Bridges Program. The targeted commencement date and term for the proposed services is January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, subject to negotiation and final agreement.
County of San Mateo Earns 14th Consecutive Financial Excellence Award Controller’s Popular Report Provides Public Transparent Look at County Finances REDWOOD CITY – For the 14th consecutive year, the County of San Mateo has earned a prestigious national award for excellence in financial reporting for the Popular version of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2014-15 report detailing for the public in an understandable way how it receives and spends its funds.
On June 18th the Probation Department participated in the 14th Annual Dad and Me @ the Park Festival. This event, sponsored by the County’s Fatherhood Collaborative, was a fun, free, outdoor educational and resource fair that hoped to engage hundreds of children, fathers and families from all throughout San Mateo County.
With the Cold War long over, the County is trading in its cramped and outdated Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for a new $37 million building to coordinate the response to disasters. It will also serve as a home for the County's 9-1-1 public safety dispatchers, a secure data center and the daily offices of the San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services and Division of Homeland Security of the Sheriff’s Office.
