CMG Landscape Architecture has been selected to develop design and construction plans, specifications and cost estimates for the redesign of Flood Park. Construction could begin August 2023.
On July 12, the first of two San Mateo County projects in Woodside focused on reducing fire risks and improving forest health and community safety began in Wunderlich County Park. During the next two years 402 acres will be treated—218 acres in Huddart Park and 184 acres in Wunderlich Park.
Redwood City – As an employer and a service provider, the County of San Mateo requires all employees and visitors to County facilities to wear face coverings. The requirement took effect at the start of business today (July 26, 2021). This requirement from the County does not apply to businesses, other government agencies or private employers of any type across San Mateo County.

People v. Linda Haskin-Gologorsky On June 21, 2021, defendant Linda Haskin-Gologorsky, AKA Princess Leia Lucas, was convicted of 33 felony counts following a 10-day jury trial. The charges included forgery, the filing and manufacturing of false documents, burglary, and perjury. On July 20, 2021, Haskin-Gologorsky was sentenced to 8 years in prison by the Honorable Judge Mark McCannon, a visiting judge from Alameda County Superior Court.
