    California Clubhouse collage

Did you know that about 44,000 people in San Mateo County struggle with serious mental illness? California Clubhouse is a membership-based organization where people with persistent mental illness rebuild their lives, learn skills and make friends. I have been a proud supporter of this organization since its inception in San Mateo County and I would like to present them with a “Warren Award” for their meaningful work.

The mission of California Clubhouse is to give those whose lives have been disrupted by mental illness the opportunity to recover with meaningful work, sustained relationships and reintegration into the broader community.  The Clubhouse does incredible work to help more over 240 members put purpose back in their lives, find jobs and help with all decision making that happens at the Clubhouse.

There are employment programs, outreach programs, young adult programs, educational opportunities, and social opportunities for all members.

Thank you to all their staff and members that keep CA Clubhouse strong and open to all!
