Developers, designers and interested citizens are invited to participate in an all-day competition to create Web and mobile apps that improve our communities. The top five winners with the best idea for an application or device will receive at least $1,500, giveaways and a chance to develop their concept in an Apps Challenge this fall.
The event is 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at GSV Labs, 425 Broadway, in Redwood City. Tickets are $20 general admission; $15 for Early Bird registrants, students, seniors and military.
