Aysha Pamukcu is a policy strategist, public interest lawyer, and coalition‑builder whose work supports thriving, connected neighborhoods where opportunity is within reach for everyone. Shaped by her Bay Area upbringing and immigrant parents' journey, she is dedicated to making sure our communities remain places where all families can put down roots and find stability.

Aysha leads the San Francisco Foundation’s Policy Fund, partnering with local governments and community organizations to co‑design housing solutions that address the affordability crisis, expand economic opportunity, and strengthen long‑term resilience. She is also the founder of Movement Praxis, where she helps organizations turn community‑powered ideas into real change.

Aysha enjoys staying active in her community — volunteering with local nonprofits, chairing the South San Francisco Planning Commission, and serving on the San Mateo County Commission on the Status of Women. She lives in South San Francisco with her partner and their two kids, who inspire her commitment to a strong and sustainable future for the next generation.
