Pest Control Aircraft Pilot Registration

Registration for aircraft pilots is a two step process. Both the Pest Control Business and the Pilot must register.

Pest Control Business Registration

Registration forms and step by step instructions for Pest Control Businesses can be found here. Beginning in 2022 we moved to an online registration system on CalAgPermits. Please log in to your CalAgPermits online account to find a new registration option on the dashboard. If you need an online account or help logging in, please contact us at (650) 363-4700 or via email at SMateoAg@smcgov.org.

Online registration is strongly encouraged. However, mail-in registration forms will also still be accepted by our department.

Pilot Registration

Complete the Pilot Registration Form and submit via mail, email, or fax. Documents required for registration include the Pest Control Pilot Registration form, a copy of a current DPR pilot license, a copy of the FAA Commercial Pilot license, and a valid medical certificate. There is no registration fee.
