We are pleased to announce the opening of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to update the Safety Elements of San Mateo County and numerous cities within the County including Atherton, Belmont, Brisbane, East Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay, Pacifica and San Bruno through a collaborative process. Redwood City – San Mateo County Health’s community COVID-19 vaccine clinics are temporarily closed and are expected to reopen after September 12 when they will offer the new booster shot. With the recent Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) authorization of the new bivalent Omicron booster, the current monovalent COVID-19 vaccines are no longer authorized to be used as boosters.
