San Mateo County Health will begin offering Pfizer boosters to eligible individuals on the following dates at the San Mateo County Event Center (1346 Saratoga Drive in San Mateo): ► Thursday, October 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ► Friday, October 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ► Tuesday, October 12, from noon to 7 p.m. ► Wednesday, October 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional booster clinics at the Event Center may be scheduled according to demand.
Redwood City – The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors today took a major step toward fulfilling a decade-long pledge to effectively end homelessness. The Board voted 5-0 to approve a key agreement with the City of Redwood City that will allow development of a 240-bed, state-of-the-art shelter east of Highway 101 off of Maple Street. The shelter, called a Navigation Center, will provide intensive counseling and other supportive services.

Redwood City – A Redwood City resident has been appointed to the San Mateo County 2021 Supervisorial District Lines Advisory Commission as the 15th and final member. Nicole Davis joins the commission as a representative from District 4, which includes Redwood City, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park (east of El Camino Real) and the unincorporated community of North Fair Oaks.
