As of today, applications are being accepted for the newly established San Mateo County Lesbian, Gay Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBT) Commission.
For Immediate Release REDWOOD CITY – The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors today passed a Proclamation declaring November 19, 2021, Transgender Day of Remembrance in the County. This Board action will be accompanied by raising and flying the Transgender flag at the Hall of Justice in Redwood City and hosting a virtual remembrance ceremony.

Redwood City – Today, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors approved the first reading of an ordinance to regulate the sale of firearms in the unincorporated areas of the county. The ordinance was sponsored by Supervisors Dave Pine and Don Horsley.
