Completion of New Flood Park Facilities Nears; Saturday Work Continues

To finish construction of the multi-use sports field and sports courts, crews are scheduled to continue work on Saturdays, Oct 19 through Nov 16. On Nov 4 –22, the entire park will be closed, including the pump track.

Fish and Game Propagation Grant Open Until Aug. 22, 2024

The fund allows the County to disperse 50% matching funding for projects that provide maximum public benefit through the protection, conservation and preservation of fish and wildlife in the County. Applications are to be submitted by August 22, 2024.

Excavation at Flood Park Makes Way for New Sports & Picnic Facilities

Contractors have excavated concrete and grass areas, tennis courts and picnic sites in preparation for construction of new sports facilities and picnic areas. Work is planned for Saturdays in late July/early August.
