Redwood City – The County of San Mateo continues to work to protect public health and safety in response to the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19. The County of San Mateo’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains open to coordinate countywide response and communications in response to the situation. Redwood City – Nearly 284,000 people in San Mateo County have received a dose of COVID-19 vaccine (44.2 percent of residents age 16 and older) and nearly half of those – 135,000 – are fully vaccinated, San Mateo County Health announced today.
