Controller Tom Huening has released Financial Highlights, the San Mateo County
Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
Financial Highlights summarizes the essential information contained in the County’s
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada
(GFOA) has given an Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual
Financial Reporting to San Mateo County for its Popular Annual Financial Report for
the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009. The Award for Outstanding Achievement in
Popular Annual Financial Reporting is a prestigious national award recognizing
conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government
popular reports.
