Redwood City – The County of San Mateo continues to work to protect public health and safety in response to the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19.
The County of San Mateo’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains open to coordinate countywide response and communications in response to the situation. The EOC’s Joint Information Center will provide daily status reports Monday through Friday until further notice. Today’s report:
San Mateo County BOS Extends Moratorium on Residential Evictions
The Board of Supervisors at today’s meeting approved for a second time the emergency regulation that places a countywide moratorium on the eviction of non-payment by residential tenants impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Testing for COVID-19 Expanded; Includes San Bruno -- Testing through July 24
Testing for COVID-19 in San Mateo County is available at no cost to any resident including those without symptoms at six locations on a rotating basis throughout the county. Appointments can be scheduled up to three days in advance, but no earlier, through Project Baseline, the state’s no-cost testing provider in San Mateo County, at https://bit.ly/2xk73OL
