The Emergency Services Council (ESC) unanimously approved the Second Revised and Restated Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement on September 19, 2025. Following the ESC’s approval, council members brought the agreement to their individual cities and towns for local approval. After local approvals, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors also unanimously approved the agreement at its August 12, 2025, meeting.
