The County of San Mateo Department of Public Works is inviting interested and qualified consultants to submit proposals for the San Mateo County Transportation Infrastructure Adaptation and Resilience Improvement Plan (Project). The Project will build on the efforts of previous climate adaptation planning to advance transportation infrastructure adaptation needs and strategies, with a particular focus on vulnerable communities. Implementation of the Project recommendations will further address vulnerable community needs by providing customized solutions to address the impacts of climate change in these communities. The Project will address transportation infrastructure climate and resiliency vulnerabilities and result in a transportation projects prioritization list and 30% conceptual designs incorporated into a final report to advance to subsequent stages of funding and implementation.
