Median islands along Ave Cabrillo and The Alameda in El Granada. 

About the Project

Trees within the median islands along Ave Cabrillo and The Alameda will be trimmed or removed for fuel reduction and hazard tree removal. Fuels reduction will be within proximity to County maintained facilities (roads). Hazard tree removal will be limited to trees with less than 30% vigor and as identified by an approved arborist. The majority of these trees are invasive, non-native, and highly flammable eucalyptus. Work started on September 1st, 2021 by Bay Area Tree Specialists. The project is anticipated to take 6 weeks to complete.
