December 2025

Project completed and is in closeout phase.

November 2025

Contractor completes ADA curb ramps, pavement repairs, and microsurfacing work. Final striping to occur early November.

Anticipated Construction Schedule

• September 15, 2025 through November 13, 2025

Please note: The schedule is subject to change depending on weather, field conditions, or other unforeseen factors.

Traffic Impacts

During construction, the County anticipates lane closures, sidewalk closures and increased traffic congestion. Travel through the area may be slower than usual, and significant delays are expected. We encourage residents and commuters to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel through the affected areas.

Work Schedule

Construction work will typically occur Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some work on weekend when necessary. Traffic control measures, including signage and flaggers, will be in place to guide drivers safely through or around work zones. Detour signage will be installed as necessary to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow.

The Department of Public Works will share updates and information throughout the construction period.

October 2025

The contractor continues to work on various ADA curb ramps and pavement repairs.

Microsurfacing work is anticipated to begin in late October, followed by striping.  Advance notice  will be provided before the start of microsurfacing.

September 2025

Contractor continues to work on various ADA curb ramps, and pavement repairs. Microsurfacing and striping work is forthcoming.

August 2025

Contract to be awarded to Golden Bay Construction, Inc. at the August 12th Board Meeting. 

July 2025

100% Project Plans and Specifications completed. Project is out to bid. Bid Opening Date is set for Thursday, July 24 at 2:30 PM.

June 2025

90% Project Plans and Specifications development

May 2025

60% Design Development

April 2025:

Field work has been completed. 60% Project plans and specifications being developed

March 2025:

Some field work has been completed. 30% Design package being developed.
