About the Project

The 2024 Pavement Preservation Project includes pavement repairs, microsurfacing, and traffic striping improvements along various streets within the Unincorporated County of San Mateo.
Pavement repairs – Motorists and bicyclists are advised to expect delays and partial lane closures. Notices will be sent out in advance prior to any work.
Micro-surfacing – Motorists and bicyclists are advised to expect delays and partial lane closures. Notices will be sent out in advance prior to any work. Temporary traffic striping will be laid out until permanent striping can be installed.
Motorists and bicyclists are also advised that roads in District 7 (Kings Mountain Road, Portola Road, Lawler Ranch Road, Sand Hill Road, Whiskey Hill Road) are scheduled for night work micro-surfacing in order to minimize impact to traffic. Changeable Message Signs will be posted in advance with road closure dates.
Traffic striping improvements/traffic restriping - Motorists and bicyclists are advised to expect delays and partial lane closures while traffic striping operations occur.
