Dan joined the County Attorney’s Office in 2019 after more than 15 years working in private practice as an intellectual property litigator. He represents the Controller’s Office, the County Executive’s Budget & Performance Unit, the Joint Powers Financing Authority, and the Department of Housing. In addition to supporting the County in public finance matters, he represents the County and its agencies in state and federal litigation.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining the County Attorney’s Office, Dan worked in the Silicon Valley offices of Duane Morris, LLP and, earlier, Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he litigated, arbitrated and mediated a diverse range of intellectual property matters for technology companies, focusing on patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and employee mobility actions, and including claims for breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, breach of commercial contract/warranty, interference and fraud.
