On July 14, 1969, a partially decomposed adult male of European ancestry was found on Thornton Beach in Daly City by a witness. The decedent was not visually identifiable due to decomposition and his cause of death was ruled to be drowning with an undetermined manner of death. Clothing from the decedent, including one pair of black socks and one pair of blue socks and dark blue swimsuit pieces, was examined by the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Fingerprints were unable to be obtained by the Department of Justice.

Hair: Unknown 

Eyes: Unknown 

Weight: Average; approximately 160 lbs 

Clothing: Black and green socks on both feet; portions of a dark blue swimsuit 

Dental: Records present; Fillings in multiple molars 

Fingerprints: Attempted; Unsuccessful through DOJ 

Anthropology: None obtained
