On 03/22/1989, at approximately 1045 hours, a man was walking his dog in a wooded area behind 901 Oceana Boulevard, Pacifica, when he discovered the skeletonized remains of a female, enshrouded in a floral print bedspread, lying amongst dense shrubbery.

Description of Remains:

Sex: Female
Ancestry: African descent with possible Hispanic/European mix
Age: Approximately 25-30 years
Eyes: Unknown
Hair: Short, curly in some areas, with a reddish-brown color
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 110-120 lbs estimated
Clothing:

  • Red and white bikini type underwear

  • Light colored T-shirt (size: small, 34-36) with a picture of Betty Boop standing on a grid and her dress blown upward.(see picture)

Jewelry: A white metal bracelet with no hallmarks and appearing handmade was found near the body. (see picture)

Distinguishing marks or tattoos: None
