Redwood City – Supervisor Jackie Speier will respond to questions and concerns from constituents at a town hall on Thursday, May 29th at 6:30 p.m. at the South San Francisco Library/Parks & Recreation Center. This event is one in a series of visits to all communities in her district.
“I hear from people with high levels of anxiety about jobs, economic uncertainty, and retirement accounts all the time,” Speier said. “I want my constituents to know that they are not alone and that I am here to listen and to help.”
The event will include two presentations on emergency preparedness and on immigration rights. Sandra Firpo from the County Department of Emergency Management will share steps residents can take to protect themselves and their homes.
