Sydnee joined the County Attorney’s Office in 2026.  She currently serves the Arts Commission, Office of Arts and Culture, Housing Authority, Housing and Community Development Committee, Homelessness Initiatives, and Public Guardian.

Prior Experience

• Following law school, Sydnee clerked for Justice Lamar Baker of the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District.  Next, Sydnee worked as a Deputy Legislative Counsel for the Office of the State Legislature.  Sydnee then clerked for then-District Judge Ana de Alba, who now serves on the Ninth Circuit.  Following her second clerkship, Sydnee worked as an associate for Keker, Van Nest & Peters, LLP.  Sydnee then served as a Deputy Attorney III for the California Department of Transportation.
