Craig joined the County Attorney’s Office in 2017, and is currently assigned to the County’s Parks Department—including the Parks and Recreation Commission—and its Revenue Services Division, as well as the Housing Endowment and Regional Trust of San Mateo County (“HEART”). In addition, Craig represents the Portola Valley School District, Jefferson Elementary School District, San Carlos School District, and the San Mateo County Community College District.  As a member of the Special Education team, Craig represents the San Carlos School District, Jefferson Elementary School District, and the San Mateo County Office of Education. Craig also serves on the Litigation team.

Craig’s past experience in the County Attorney’s Office includes:

Prior Experience

After graduating from law school, Craig joined the law firm of Reed Smith, LLP as an Associate. While there, Craig worked in the firm’s Commercial/Complex Litigation Group where he represented large financial institutions, multinational corporations, and healthcare provider clients in all aspects of litigation, with specific expertise in financial services/mortgage litigation, labor and employment law, ADA public accommodation law, and commercial/contract disputes.  Prior to law school, Craig worked for Stanford’s alumni educational travel program.
