Carolina Babbidge joined the Office of the County Attorney in January 2025 as a Deputy County Attorney. Her work focuses on labor standards enforcement, wage-and-hour compliance, and advising on matters involving worker protections and employer obligations.
Before joining the CAO, Carolina served as a staff attorney at Legal Aid of Marin, where she represented employees in wage-theft and employment-law matters. She conducted administrative hearings before the California Labor Commissioner and litigated civil actions involving unpaid wages, overtime, meal and rest break violations, and related claims.
Carolina is licensed to practice law in both Mexico and California. She brings extensive experience from the public and private sectors in both countries, particularly in the areas of compliance and employment law.
She earned her law degree from La Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua and holds an LL.M. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly Hastings College of the Law).
