Construction of the Quarry Park Pump Track that began this spring is almost complete and finishing touches are in progress in preparation for opening day on Saturday, July 16 at 10 a.m.  

The opening event will feature coaching clinics, demonstration rides by pros, food and drink.  Expected speakers include Supervisor Don Horsley, San Mateo County Parks Director Nicholas Calderon, Granada Community Services District Board Director Barbara Dye, and representatives with San Mateo County Parks Foundation and Coastside Mountain Bikers.

Make sure you stop by the information tables hosted by numerous community and bike groups for updates on local projects and service. Find alternative parking for the pump track opening event in the El Granada Elementary School parking lot (view map).
