Summer weather allows San Mateo County Parks to perform regular scheduled maintenance along Crystal Springs Regional Trail. From June 14 - 24, the Parks Department will perform annual mowing to make the trail more usable and to reduce fire risk. All trail segments will be fully open for use on weekends. For specifics on closure dates and locations, see below.

In addition to these closures, the northern portion of the Sawyer Camp segment of the trail will be closed, Mon-Fri until July 15 for geotechnical work. Summer is a busy time for projects on Crystal Springs Regional Trail. Check the Crystal Springs Regional Trail page for additional advisories.

Please note: Trail closures go into effect the evening before, at 6:30pm.

June 14 & 15: South Sawyer Camp Segment Closed

On Tuesday, June 14 and Wednesday, June 15, the Sawyer Camp segment of Crystal Springs Regional Trail will be closed from the south gate at Crystal Springs Road to the Jepson Laurel. View Map

June 16 & 17: North Sawyer Camp Segment Closed

On Thursday, June 16 and Friday, June 15, the Sawyer Camp segment of Crystal Springs Regional Trail will be closed from the Jepson Laurel to the north gate at Hillcrest Blvd. View Map

June 21 & 22: San Andreas Segment Closed

On Tuesday, June 21 and Wednesday, June 22, the San Andreas segment of Crystal Springs Regional Trail will be closed. View Map

June 23 & 24: South of Dam Segment Closed

On Thursday, June 23 and Friday, June 24, the South of Dam segment of Crystal Springs Regional Trail will be closed from the Sawyer Camp south gate at Crystal Springs Rd southward. View Map
