At their Tuesday, October 3rd meeting, the Board of Supervisors recognized San Mateo County Park rangers as the County’s September Team of the Month for their dedication to managing more than 16,000 acres of public land and public service to close to 3 million visitors each year. Congratulations, rangers!

Construction of the Flood Park Pump Track has Begun

Following partial demolition of the tennis courts, contractors broke ground for Flood’s pump track. Construction is expected to continue until early October.

Tunitas Creek Beach Construction Begins

Construction of Tunitas Creek Beach has begun, with the park scheduled to open in Spring/Summer 2024. The property will be closed for construction until the park opening and is not accessible to the public.

Phase 1 Construction of Flood Park Landscape Plan on the Horizon

Beginning late July, park visitors will see work begin to demolish one of the old tennis courts followed by installation of the bike pump track.
