REDWOOD CITY (July 2012) - The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has given an Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting to San Mateo County for its Popular Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011. The Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial  Reporting is a prestigious national award recognizing conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government popular reports. 

Controller Releases Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Controller Tom Huening released the San Mateo County Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010. The CAFR contains the County’s audited financial statements and other financial information. It also contains information about the local economy, the structure of the County government, the County’s future financial plans, the County’s financial policies, and significant County projects.
