Redwood City – The San Mateo County Veterans Commission is calling for nominations for its 6th annual Veterans Recognition Event that will take place in November  2021. Nominations will be accepted from now until the close of business on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Redwood City – The County of San Mateo continues to work to protect public health and safety in response to the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19. The County of San Mateo’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains open to coordinate countywide response and communications in response to the situation. Sixteen and 17-year-old San Mateo County residents are eligible to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine tomorrow, May 4, 2021, at the San Mateo Event Center site with parental or guardian consent.
