The Board of Supervisors accepts the Children, Youth and Families Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-2017, a document that summarizes budgets from across County departments to provide a holistic view of the County’s financial and philosophical commitment to the more than 160,000 residents under the age 18.
On July 12, 2016, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors appointed Carlos Bolanos Acting Sheriff of San Mateo County to finish out the two years remaining in the term of former Sheriff Greg Munks who stepped down for health reasons. The Board of Supervisors is grateful to have seasoned leadership in the ranks of our law enforcement and the department is fortunate to have a team of professionals that have worked closely together for several years. Beginning on May 31st, the Town of Atherton plans to close Marsh Road for eight to twelve weeks to repair the Marsh Road Canal that is eroding the road bed.
