On Saturday, October 21, the new pump track opens at Flood Park. Completion of the pump track is part of the first phase of construction for Realize Flood Park, a community-informed project focused on redesigning and revitalizing Flood Park.

Construction of the Flood Park Pump Track has Begun

Following partial demolition of the tennis courts, contractors broke ground for Flood’s pump track. Construction is expected to continue until early October.

Tunitas Creek Beach Construction Begins

Construction of Tunitas Creek Beach has begun, with the park scheduled to open in Spring/Summer 2024. The property will be closed for construction until the park opening and is not accessible to the public.

Phase 1 Construction of Flood Park Landscape Plan on the Horizon

Beginning late July, park visitors will see work begin to demolish one of the old tennis courts followed by installation of the bike pump track.

Board Approves New Dog Camping in Memorial County Park Starting in September
