FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Government Finance Officers Association awarded a "Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting" to San Mateo County Controller Tom Huening for  the 2008-09 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). This is the 10th consecutive year that the County has received this prestigious award.
