The County of San Mateo Department of Housing invites applications for three Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA) FY 2024-25 housing and community development activities and projects funded via federal and State funding and the Equity Innovation Fund (EIF) Program.  Based on 2023-24 funding the County estimates there will be approximately $4,450,143.82 to distribute for Capital Projects, $1,553,244.02 to distribute for Community Development activities and $482,986 to distribute through the Equity Innovation Fu

Volunteers Needed for One-Day Homeless Count on January 25th

The County of San Mateo’s Human Services Agency (HSA) seeks volunteers to implement the One Day Homeless Count on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 5 AM to 10 AM.  Trained volunteers will be deployed across the County to conduct an observational count of individuals who are unsheltered. Volunteers will navigate every street within their assigned census tract and record their findings using a mobile application.
