San Mateo County Supervisors Provide Grant For Early Childhood Education Teacher Training

Today, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors approved a grant for $50,000 from Measure K funds in support of Community Equity Collaborative’s (CEC) Teacher Pipeline Project. This program offers tuition-free Early Childhood Education classes to address the shortage of high-quality child care providers in San Mateo County.

Board Of Supervisors Requests More Information On Flood Plan/EIR

At its November 5 meeting, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors received a presentation on the Flood Park Landscape Plan and Environmental Impact Report from Park staff. Dog Pilot Program At Coyote Point

As of June 15, 2019, dogs will be allowed on leash in designated and posted trails and areas in Coyote Point Recreation Area as part of the San Mateo County Park’s dog pilot program.

San Mateo County Board Of Supervisors Approves Grant For Trades Introductory Program

Today, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors authorized a grant of $100,000 from Measure K funds to the San Mateo County Union Community Alliance (SMCUCA) to support the Trades Introduction Program (TIP San Mateo). The grant proposal was introduced by Supervisor Dave Pine and unanimously approved by the Board.
