2016 PAFR Press Release

Redwood City — San Mateo County Controller Juan Raigoza today released the County’s Financial Highlights report, also known as the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR), for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016. This report summarizes the details of the County’s financial picture documented in the much longer Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) released in November.

FY 2016-17 Property Tax Rates and Levies Press Release

County Controller Finalizes Property Tax Rates and Levies for FY 2016-17 Redwood City – The tax rates and levies are set for fiscal year (FY) 2016-17, totaling $2.412 billion countywide, up from the $2.259 billion levied in FY 2015-16. The one-percent General Tax on secured properties accounts for $1.81 billion.

RFQ: Gang Prevention and Intervention

The County of San Mateo seeks by way of this RFQ to obtain quotes from all qualified providers who have knowledge and expertise with providing gang intervention and prevention services, or similar services. The tentative target start date and term for the proposed services is December 2016 through December 2018, subject to negotiation of a final agreement.

RFQ: Educational and Vocational Services for the Bridges Program

This RFQ seeks responses from any and all qualified agencies or individuals to provide educational and vocational services for the San Mateo County Probation Department’s Bridges Program. The targeted commencement date and term for the proposed services is January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, subject to negotiation and final agreement.

Dad and Me @ the Park

On June 18th the Probation Department participated in the 14th Annual Dad and Me @ the Park Festival. This event, sponsored by the County’s Fatherhood Collaborative, was a fun, free, outdoor educational and resource fair that hoped to engage hundreds of children, fathers and families from all throughout San Mateo County.
