Calling all poets and poetry enthusiasts! “Poetry is Heritage” begins April 1st. No fooling!
In celebration on National Poetry Month (which begins today), San Mateo County Poet Laureate Caroline Goodwin is inviting all poets to submit a poem about your culture or heritage. Perhaps you have a favorite poet from your heritage that you would like to honor in your poem? Or tell us about your cultural background from your experience!
Poems should be no longer than 40 lines. To submit your poems, visit http://sanmateocountypoet.org/poetry-is/. And yes, you may submit more than one poem!
