Congratulations to @KaiserPermanente - Redwood City for being Joint Commission certified as a Comprehensive ‪Stroke Center! We recognized Stacey Wagner, Public Affairs Officer and the leadership team from the hospital were presented a resolution recognizing their accomplishment at our Board of Supervisors meeting this morning.

Only 8% of the hospitals in the country (98/1200) are certified as Comprehensive Stroke Centers, and Kaiser Permanente-Redwood City is the only certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in the County of San Mateo.

As a lifelong Kaiser member, I am grateful for the years of care that my family has received and proud to know that you have earned this special designation.
