  • Amy Buckmaster is first woman in over 100 years to lead the Redwood City – San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce as its President. She will be honored by the Chamber later this month, receiving its Business Woman of the Year Award for 2013, as a woman who lends her invaluable business expertise to the local community for the purpose of stimulating and enhancing the quality of life, for demonstrating excellence, creativity and initiative in her business, and for assisting other women, no matter their background, to reach their professional potential within the business community. Amy began working at the Chamber in 1987 as a part-time receptionist while going to school. She was promoted to Events Coordinator, Marketing & Communications Manager, Vice President and Interim President before assuming the role of President & CEO. She knows the organization from the ground-up! Congratulations, Amy!
