This fun event is to promote literacy and the joys of reading among the youth of East Palo Alto and its surrounding communities. Bring your kids, your neighbors and friends and prepare to have a grand time! Last year more than 900 people attended and 45 community organizations hosted reading activities. And an unbelievable number - more than 6,000 free books were given to youth in the East Palo Alto community along with free prizes, free food, drinks and snacks!
