Aysha Pamukcu is a champion for social justice through policy and systems change. She is the Director of the San Francisco Foundation's Policy Fund, which advances community-driven policy solutions to the housing crisis and economic inequality. She is also the founder of Movement Praxis, an equity-centered policy and philanthropic consulting practice. She has been nationally recognized for her innovative work, including being listed as one of the “40 under 40 in Public Health” by the de Beaumont Foundation, "40 under 40 in Minority Health" by the National Minority Quality Forum, and receiving a Fulcrum Fellowship from the Center for Community Investment.

She previously served as ChangeLab Solutions’ first-ever Health Equity Lead, working with leaders across the country to improve the health of the most marginalized people and places. Prior to that, Aysha worked as a civil rights attorney for the Greenlining Institute and clerked for judges in the Supreme Court Chamber of the Cambodian war crimes tribunal. Other philanthropic roles include leading three gender justice donor collaboratives and serving on the founding advisory boards of the Hive Fund for Climate & Gender Justice and the Collective Future Fund. 

She currently serves on the boards of the Asian-Pacific Environmental Network and California Community Builders, as well as on the founding team of the Just Transition Lawyering Institute. She is also proud to serve her local community on the South San Francisco Planning Commission and San Mateo County Commission on the Status of Women.
