Are you ready?


Learn how to prepare your family for a disaster on Saturday, June 8, at San Mateo County's Disaster Preparedness Day. Take a free and quick course in basic CPR. Learn how to put together a disaster kit and make a disaster plan. Watch first responders in action.

It all takes place June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Mateo County Event Center, 1346 Saratoga Ave., San Mateo. Arrive before 11 a.m. and for free parking and free admission for the whole family to the San Mateo County Fair.
